POLICY AND PROCEDURE

The first step in obtaining a hearing aid is to have a complete audiologic (hearing) evaluation to determine the type of extent of your hearing loss.  All audiologic evaluations are performed by licensed, certified, Master-level Audiologists who work closely with our neurotologists.  Pennsylvania state law requires an audiologic evaluation within six months of purchasing a hearing aid.  The cost of the evaluation is not included in the cost of the hearing aid, however, most health insurance policies will cover this charge.
